As im sure most of you already know... England have made it through to the semi-finals in the Euro!! After an intense evening in front of the box it ended in celebration as we won 1-0 against Ukraine! But... it also means that there are more discounts avaliable at any Cane Adam branch! Paulo Henrique dos Santos, a pool attendant from Brazil, wanted so much to impersonate the Incredible Hulk for a local running event that he painted himself with green industrial paint. As the shops didn’t have the brand of paint he normally used, he decided to go with industrial paint normally used for ballistic missiles and nuclear submarines!
When it was time to remove the green paint, dos Santos noticed that no matter how hard he scrubbed, it would not wash off. He took 20 baths in two days, desperate to remove his improvised Hulk costume, but had no success. As if the embarrassed of having all his neighbors laugh at him as he walked around his neighborhood wasn’t enough, photos of him and his mother trying to remove the paint went viral on the Internet. He was also forced to sleep in a room filled with plastic bags and feared the industrial paint could cause lead poisoning.

The guys at the Camberley Cane Adam shop have gone a little football crazy! Both ardent England supporters Graham and Andy chose to celebrate in different ways. Graham by sawing off both his legs and Andy by sticking flags down his trousers and running round the streets pretending to be superman. As well as being barking mad they also do run a great paint shop.
The Cane Adam technical helpline has reached a landmark £1M in sales from calls received from customers asking for a solution to their particular problem. While not intended as a sales revenue stream on it's own the helpline does lead to sales. Still operated by Grenville Savage MBE who has been with the project from day one, the helpline has dealt with some interesting and obscure places or surfaces to paint. The helpline is also a great help to the branches, dealing with customer issues that may be beyond the knowledge of the counter staff or to ease the burden of long enquiries on a busy day.
